This is a wreck of my Ford Taurus. There was three of us in the
car and we were going about 110-115 mph and maybe faster down
highway 185 South. I remember the speedometer needle was maxed
out way past 85 mph. The car's power steering had recently went
out. Going around a slight curve one of the tires gripped ahold
of ground outside the pavement and it snatched and I couldn't
regain control of the car so we hit the ditch in the median and
the car spun around going back across the highway sliding sideways
and then the car went into the air and ended up into the trees,
the rear of the car spun around just in time and smashed into
the trees or I would have been dead, probably my cousin and friend
also.
My friend in the backseat went out the back window and landed
into the trees, if he wouldnt have got slung out he would have
been crushed. My cousin got tossed into the backseat, his feet
were in my face when the car stopped. None of us had any serious
injuries except for a little soreness and cuts from the glass.
We are all lucky, I can't believe that any of us were not killed,
and even better, no serious injuries. Drew, Matt, & Shane.
