Mitsubishi Eclipse: Deer Crash

This Crash: Pic 2 | Pic 3
My Husband and I had our accident driving home late on November
26, 2006. We hit a deer going about 45-50 mph, went airborne,
hit an embankment, flipped into a ditch head first, hit the culvert,
then ended up facing the way we came in. A nice couple stopped
to check to make sure that we were ok and called 911. The man
said he saw us when we went airborne and was glad to see us alive.
We were wearing our seat belts which kept me from being ejected
from the car. My husband was driving, he shattered his right
knee and spent 5 hours in surgery having plates put in and bone
repair work done. He also had a very deep cut on his right cheek
that took 2 layers of stitches to fix. He spent 6 days in the
hospital. I had a broken right wrist, and bad bruising from my
seat belt. Amanda
