Toyota Truck Destroyed

This accident happened in decatur, alabama on june 24, 2004. this is a picture of my 4 runner that i was using to drive back from summer classes in decatur.

I was coming back on I-565 and getting to merge with traffic when my rear wheels lost control and i hydroplaned out of the merge lane and into the path of an 18 wheeler going down the interstate at 70 miles an hour. The driver of the truck tried to stop, but it was too late his semi jack knifed and sent my Toyota 4 runner into a small creek off of the interstate.

I was very fortunate that this accident was not worse as the driver of the truck was carrying a load of large steel pipes. There were no eye witneses to this accident.
