Broken Tibial plateau and Head Injury

My boyfriend was driving through an intersection when someone decided to turn in front of us. This was the result. I wasn't wearing my seatbelt and hit my head shattering the windshield. I fractured my tibial plateau and now a have a plate and six screws in my leg. I still have nightmares about the accident...
