3 friends and I had spent the morning driving around the area
in my 2002 Chevy Prizm. We were headed back into our town from
the city. It was a clear, sunny Saturday afternoon. Traffic wasn't
heavy, but it definitely wasn't light. We drove through an intersection
when suddenly the mini van in front of us decided to brake quickly.
I noticed the brake lights go on, so I quickly slammed on my
brakes, but didn't stop in time. I rear-ended the mini van. I
got out of my car to notice that there was another SUV type car
parked in front of the mini van. Apparently the lady I rear-ended
had rear-ended the SUV. The lady in the van was pregnant and
due in 3 weeks so her husband came to pick her up and take her
to the hospital.
Everyone else involved was okay, except for my friend's fat lip.
Out of the three cars involved, mine got the most damage. The
people in the first car were planning on selling their car today
(3-19-06) because they are moving back to India. They didn't
have much damage done to their car, just a hardly noticable dent
in the rear of their SUV. The rear end of the mini van had no
damage done, but the front was a little smashed up and leaking
