The moral of the story, be ready for anything on the roadway. While heading South on the Merritt Parkway in Fairfield Ct, just after a heavy rainshower, a car ahead had broken down in the middle of one of the lanes, ..no coasting it off the road, no 4 way flashers..sitting in the middle of the roadway. silver car, gray day, misty roadway. All the other cars got around at the last second..my pics,tell the rest.
Only had this car 6 months, just over 7000 miles. BUT, airbag deployed as designed and the crumple zone, the same. A great car, I just liked it better in its former shape. All walked away, and that is a true blessing, so as upset as I am and as inconvenient as it was, keeping things in perspective.
Yes,was buckled up! On the road, EXPECT the unexpected! happened
