I suppose my case isn't quite as dramatic as some, but I thought I'd give it a try!!! The accident happened the 21 March 2004, just south of Tachereau, QC, CANADA. We had had terrible weather the last day or so, I lost control of my car on the ice (90-100km/hr), swerved a few times and ended up on the other side of the road and the passenger side slammed into the begining of a guardrail.
My car was the only car implicated in the accident, and I was the only person in the car(thank heavens). Luckily I came out with a few scrapes (needing stitches), and a major bruise on my thigh!!
It'll make me think twice about following the speedlimit in less than ideal conditions!!!!
