It happened at 8:15am on August 15th, 2002. I was driving south on a back country road, going to work after
dropping my baby off at her grandparents. I was coming up on
an earthmoving heading north. I slowed down and got off the road
as far as I could. As I was passing the earthmover, a car turned
left right in front of me.
Instead of hitting her head on, I chose to swerve to the right
to try to miss her.
I hit her front end and ended up hitting 3 trees and flipping
my jeep grand cherokee. When I crawled out of the passengers
side, my jeep was facing north. I wasn't injured, just sore.
The bad thing is the girl totalled my jeep and her insurance
will only cover $10,000. That is the worst part about this whole
mess. I had only had my jeep for 2 months.
