These accidents took place yesterday (April 5, 2007) in a
snow storm. The girl who was driving the white car. Me and her
used to be good friends, she was at her boyfriends house. She
left and I don't know where she was heading, but along the way
on the road her boyfriend lives on she hit a pole and guard rail.
There was a slight hill and I think she lost control coming down
the hill too fast. (Coming down the hill you do pick up a little
speed, she could of been going a little too fast and tried to
slow and hit the brake and lost control.) She side swiped the
pole and flew into the end of the guard rail. The guard rails
have been there for about three years after the road washed out
during a bad rain storm so shes lucky she hit those guard rails
and not the old ones. She would of gone into the ocean if the
old ones would of been there. I used to live down near there
too. About 500 feet up the road from it. I don't live down there
anymore. She was alright, no injuries. I thought she would of
had a accident long before this, but she didn't, this wasn't
entirely her fault I think. Snow covered roads were the cause
I think. Reason why the road was so horrible I think is one:
they don't take care of it as well as they should and two: there
was only one snow plow going cause the other snow plow rolled
Anyways, the white van. Someone told me it rolled over on its
roof. It never rolled over. Where they said it rolled over too,
he lives about 150 feet away from where he crashed. I'm pretty
sure it hit one of the deep ditches. He was going to work I think.
I'm not sure what happened, but it's nothing too serious. Just
a cracked bumper. The green Cavalier. When I first seen it I
thought it was my sisters car cause her car looks exactly the
same as that. But my sisters is a 2 dr thats a 4 dr. I think
it's my friends mothers car. I don't know what happened, except
the bumper, headlights, and other stuff are missing. A few dents
in the fenders and hood. I'm pretty sure it went in the ditch.
Looked like the trunk was a bit smashed, but it could of been
cause of the lighting. So out of the entire day in this small
town there was about 4 or 5 accidents. My best friend Wally and
his mother seen a station wagon in the ditch, it missed a pole
by centimeters! It lost control and spun around in the road a
couple of times then went flying into the ditch backwards. There
was I don't know many people off in the ditch, but one snow plow
rolled over, two cars hit the ditch and cause damage as you can
see, and one car hit a pole and guard rail. Thankfully there
were no serious injuries out of these accidents. The guy who
rolled the snow plow, he a cop around here. Many people don't
like him, I get along great with him and thankfully he didn't
get hurt at all! They thought he did but he was just shook up.
If I get pictures of the snow plow I'll send them in.
